Work faster than you think.

When we first met InfoDynamics, a software developer that creates document management and productivity tools, we learned they were more than ready to update their brand. After meeting with key leadership to discuss the company, their products, sales methods, and plans for 2011 we helped them reconsider product features and benefits, product naming, new brand identity, tagline, and multiple collateral applications.

The tagline, Work faster than you think, was a natural for a company that develops products that can automate processes while transforming a company’s documents into a searchable database. In fact, you might want to learn how they can help your business.

christopher west presents Contingent Process

First Friday:
May 6, 2011 5–9pm

christopher west presents: Contingent Process curated by Ben Valentine. The methods and materials of creation have been expanding rapidly since the 1960’s, incorporating works of art that are radically different from those of the past. This show examines a small facet of this expansion in contemporary art with works that incorporate ideas of a contingent process – art that hovers between the production and a final object. The artists here have relinquished aesthetic control to a situation which naturally grew their works.

More Sugary Goodness

We’re excited to announce that we have a new neighbor joining us this month. The Sweet Tooth Bakery, specializing in custom wedding cakes and cupcakes and cakes for all your special occasions, will open on Thursday, May 5th at 610 Mass Ave. We’re guessing they’ll be great neighbors, because they’re celebrating their first day on the block with $1 cupcakes between noon and 6pm. Good thing there’s a YMCA down the street, something tells me we’ll need to hit the treadmill soon.

Love your garden. They do.

Spring usually brings a refreshing spirit after a long, quiet season. This spring also offers a refreshing new brand identity for our friends at Spotts Garden Service, some of the finest, smartest, and most environmentally friendly gardeners in town. Look for their updated identity on their shirts, trucks, web site, print collateral, shovels, wheel barrels, and anywhere they can think to put it. The Spotts crew lives by their new tagline: Love your garden. We do.

In the gallery: Oblong

First Friday:
March 4, 2010 5-9 pm

Matthew Steele’s interests lie in methods of connection. Heavily motivated by infrastructure, Steele sees a certain poetry in the lengths we go to and to feel connected. He is interested in how our internal technologies are often reflected in the physical technologies that we produce.  There is desire in a highway. There is resilience in a dam. There is triumph in a bridge. These icons are steeped in intense labor.  They are manifestations of our grand intention; to transcend the greatest obstacles we know. It is Steele’s intent to personify or portray technologies of the self through depictions of these utilitarian endeavors.
