Pushing Buttons at St. Francis

Dean Johnson Fresh Work

As many of you know, we’ve had a lot of fun making, giving away, and even selling buttons the last few years. So we were especially flattered when client St. Francis Hospital asked us to do a custom button project for them.

We created several button sets used as internal marketing for the St. Francis E.R. staff to help reinforce the pride and excitement in their very unique line of work.

christopher west presents is pleased to announce a A Rush and a Push, an exhibition of new paintings by Cincinnati-based Jeffrey Cortland Jones.

Jones, a native of East Tennessee, received his MFA in painting from the University of Cincinnati in 2000. He sees painting as a physical activity and a material process rather than as a language that conveys narrative meaning. He is interested in how chance happenings and the union of formal opposites such as geometric versus organic and controlled versus spontaneous, challenge and instruct the work.

Fresh. Local. Beer.

christopher west presents

It’s no secret that the people of Dean Johnson have a love of good beer, which is why you can likely catch at least a couple of us at Sun King on Friday afternoons to get our growlers filled for the weekend with their award-winning beer.

Sun King offers four “always available” house beers (we recommend the Sunlight Cream Ale, though the Hopheads will enjoy the Osiris Pale Ale), as well as several seasonal and specialty beers. You can find Sun King in pubs, restaurants and retail outlets all around town, but we especially like finding it right here on Mass Ave.

Check their website for info on Tasting Room hours and where you can find their beers.
